PRO-TURF Services is looking for a high-energy, self-starter with a strong work ethic to be a Turf Care Sales Specialist and help grow our turf care business. As a member of our team, you will actively generate new sales leads; bid jobs for residential, commercial, and sports turf care; and help customers grow the best lawns throughout the Des Moines metro and surrounding areas.

Core Responsibilities:
- Prioritize activities that generate sales leads, turf recommendations, and bids, leading to a profitable business
- Estimate application costs for customers and offer professional lawn care recommendations
- Communicate well with customers, prospects, and Turf Department Manager to ensure excellent customer service
- Follow all credit policies and accurately complete sales contracts and billing invoices
- Assist with lawn care applications and operations when necessary to prioritize timely delivery of products and services
- Stay current on industry information to deliver updated problem-solving expertise to accounts
What we need from you:
- Minimum of two-year turf or horticulture degree preferred, and/or experience in the turf industry
- Excellent business, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience meeting multiple deadlines and responding quickly to customer and prospect communications
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, sit, crawl, climb, and reach difficult areas as job demands
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug test
- Ability to pass all certification tests and obtain a CDL (we offer in-house training)
